Important information

I’m getting tired of the unwanted comments on our DRV threads. Instead of engaging with them I will deal with them in one of two ways.

OPTION 1 is to put them on your ignore list. When doing this you will never see what they post. The only way is if an unblocked member quotes them.

First hit user CP in the upper left hand corner.
Then under settings and options on the left hit, edit ignore list.

Then just type in there screen name, make sure to do it exactly. Then hit OK.

OPTION 2 is to report the post.
Press the triangle with the exclamation in it on the post that you want to report.
Then type in why you are reporting the post and hit send report.

I hope that no one has to use these options, but I wanted to explain that they are available and how to do it.
Keep the great posts coming and please do not let the few on here make you not wanting to come on.

I am happy to see this Forum is becoming MUCH more active. With that we will see people that just want to argue and name call.

Personally I never have or never will block anyone. Even the most destructive can have something to add.

Yes, good information and I have used it. If I want comedy and smart alec responses I can watch the "news".

Funny comments are fine. But if the same member keeps trying to stir the pot and never adding anything constructive. Then he is a troll. I could confront him, but no matter what I do they will not change. As they are what they are and will not change. Even if they are just a keyboard warrior. Not to mention that some people grow tired of seeing immature people and leave the site. This is why I tried to educate new members that do not want to see or be associated with them.
I’m sorry Thor that DRV has the most active section on the board.

I agree, but most of the time they don’t. And some members might choose to leave and not come back. And that is a loss for the DRV section.

We all can learn something on these posts and or help others! That is what makes these forums so great. I have always tried to get along with everyone and post positive comments. I am very happy I found this forum and we have active members helping each other! Thank you to all who contribute!

My only complaint is sometimes when I ask a question that I think is important, and right away someone changes the entire subject and my question never gets answered.

Agreed. That and when you ask an important question about a particular problem and someone chimes in with something along the lines of " I don't know how to fix that but good luck." Really??

You can't polish a turd or make chicken salad out of chicken poop. Some people will never change. I quit using irv2 for this same reason. It's full of old, know everything drunks that start up around 9 or 10 at night and slam every one they can. Their way is the only and best way...period. This is a much better forum and it's mostly Thor specific.

That is just the way it is! Just post another question on the same thread. Sometimes the subject runs out of steam and another takes over.

HA, I earned a lifetime ban from there! SmokyWren a mod did not like that I disagreed with him on Dually GVWR's I proved him wrong and he did NOT like that. So they came up with a way to get rid of my by saying I violated forum rules trying to sell things.

Someone asked about a tow vehicle and RV, I said "I have the perfect combo for you" then proceeded to tell about my setup and how happy I was with it. Temp ban! Asked why and then explained I was not trying to sell.

Then someone mentioned wanting to sell something and I said "don't mention selling or you will get da boot" guess what I get the boot again!

Then a third time I can't remember but something as silly got me a LIFETIME ban!

I have never gotten a ban from any other Forum, temp or lifetime!
