LG 55 inch Living room TV dismount

Hello all fellow campers, need a little assistance.

I want to hook an HDMI cable to the rear of my living room tv in my of 2018 DRV Elite. I can't get my hand to the back or side of the tv. It is mounted very close to the wall.

Anyone have any experience with removing the TV

No need to move it or plug into the back of it.
Plug it in back of your stereo. I have a Firestick, Apple TV, DVD player and a dual tuner OTA DVR all running through the stereo. There is also plugs in your cabinet to power up what you want to plug in also. So no exposed wires. Win win in my book.

I also installed a rack to help the components keep cool.

How can plugging my dish net into the back of my stereo get me a picture on my tv?

Anyway, at least on mine you reach down from the top, grab hold of the bar and pull up. TV top swings away, lift up from the bottom and away you go. Good luck with what ever works for you.

Bill, is the out put of your dish net an HDMI cord? If it is then it can run through the stereo also. If you plug it in on the back of the stereo, you set your tv input to HTMI 1 and then select the input on your stereo you have it plugged into to that setting. Just like when you watch a DVD. In doing this you always have surround sound.

Yes, the dish is HDMI. I had no idea that the stereo would pass a picture also.
Damn, and at my age!

Bill,
Well then plug it in and make it happen. No need to reach behind the tv to do anything. Press a couple of buttons and select the correct setting and your good to go. Let me know how it turns out.

I fished a HDMI down the wall from my Hopper to the TV. Not a hard job and the TV will tip out.

Look at the bedroom TV, same mount and easier to see and see how it works.

See below for two of the three pictures that may help.

The TV bracket has two bars, fixed bottom bar drops into the 'hooks' at the bottom of the wall bracket.
The top bar is spring loaded 'UP'.

Set the TV in the bottom hooks and rotate towards the wall to lock in.
DRV adds the two angle brackets to keep the TV from bouncing out up against the upper spring loaded bar. The angles keep the bar from moving .

First time I removed the TV I forcefully pushed up until the brackets bent, then pulled the TV out from the bottom.

Once the TV was off the wall I added a piece of 1" looped webbing around the upper bar, just long enough to grab and pull down from underneath the TV.

To add to the above, when the TV was off the wall I added short HDMI and USB 'jumpers' to the ports, just keep them tucked up until needed.

I also snaked an HDMI down from the top for my SAT feeds
