Good deal! Alicia is the way to go. I HIGHLY suggest planning to stay a few days on her lot to make sure EVERYTHING is completed to your satisfaction before leaving. I would Pay 1/2 then last half when you are happy and ready to leave. This has nothing to do with Alicia it's your leverage to get the POS's at the Factory to allow your list to be paid for. Once you head out into the cruel world unless near Alicia you will be told to "pound sand" at every turn!!!

Congrats on the new purchase!!! You're going to be very pleased. I WISH we would've known about RR when we bought our trailer.

We had the opportunity to stop in recently and meet Alicia and Slade, while on our way through to Amarillo. Alicia just happened to be "free" yesterday morning so we spent about two hours there talking with her. I was really impressed with her knowledge of DRVs!! Wow.... You did good buying here.

Welcome! Hope you like it as well as we do. We lived in our 2007 Select Suite for 5 1/2 years and now have lived in the 2012 Mobile Suite for 5 1/2 years. Wouldn't change a thing, go to some regional rallies and/or national rally. Everyone is nice and they are fun

You're going to be so pleased, after spending just a couple of hours talking to Alicia she REALLY impressed me with her knowledge. Without a doubt if we were to buy a new DRV, we'd be heading to RR for sure!

Went to drv yesterday our unit is coming off line 5-11.Let us hang out as long as we wanted to ,ask questions, whatever.Things I noticed, steps are now aluminum, axles now are 8,8.4,and 9.Bearings in 9 are now bigger than 8k.They now use several paint shops to keep up with demand.Where repair area was is now area they use to put decals on and do final p.d.i..

Bearings, rotors and calipers were always larger on the 9k but the pads are the same. NOT good IMHO.

8 & 9K shown. The framework is exactly the same on 8 & 9K. Interesting on the 8.4???

Don't know what they put the 8.4's on but they were in stock, really didn't look at them close.I asked why the buyer could not upgrade to heavier axles,he replied the ride would be to harsh.

The 8 and 9K "axles" are EXACTLY the same. The only difference is the "springs" or rubber pads are one step stiffer on the 9 vs 8K.

I could change my springs to the stiffer 9K if I wanted but there is no reason since my spring offset is right in the middle of MORryd's specs. My axle weight is 17.5-18K.

Look at the above pic the "axles" are exactly the same on the 8 and 9K.

I was asked to check a friend's Elite Suites for the caliper bolt problem. The brakes on his 9K MorRyde IS units are different than on my 8K units. The discs and calipers are larger, and the calipers are mounted at the 12:00 position versus the 9:00 position on mine

This is correct, BUT the problem is they use the EXACT same pad as the 8K. Sad but true. The caliper is larger on the 9K.

A big reason I did not swap to the 9K while getting my 3" risers added.

IMHO the pads on the 8K are on the small side.

9K axle shown. Pads could be wider and longer based on rotor and caliper size.
