I shut down the 50A at the power pole and turned the battery switch off. But, this was not enough as I checked the refrigerator to find it still operating and the 2800 inverter still inverting.
The easy solution was to use the ME-RC Standard Remote Control mounted inside the Suites in the power cabinet. I simply pressed the lower left button to turn the 2800 inverter off. No need to remove/disconnect catastrophic fuses, etc.
I removed one pair of 6V batteries at a time, filled them with distilled water and put them back. I then turned the 50A back on at the power pole, turned on the battery switch, & turned on the inverter at the ME-RC Standard Remote Control.
The inverter came back on powering the refrigerator. The Suites remained on battery for 90 seconds due to the time delay in the Surge Protector I use at the campground's power pole.
The only difficulty I had was removing and replacing the strap DRV installed to keep the batteries in place when traveling.

That was the problem that was giving me the large spark. I had already disconnected the batteries and was installing the new ones, but I had not shut the inverter down at the ME-RC, so when I got to the last battery and cable, the inverter was coming online. So, once I disconnected the cat fuse, all was good. This is the only thing I could come up with regards to the large spark I was getting.
