New F450-8

I don't know if they have the new 7.3 liter pushrod V-8 in the newest RVs yet but if you read up on it, the torque output is amazing. The RV setup is only 350 Hp but the pickup version is 450 so I figure you can swap the ECU and up the power. Check it out.

2020 f450

I'm trading in my 2017 F-450 Platinum for 2020. More HP and Torque, larger braking system etc. I have had 6 F350. The 2020 will be my third 450. Not going back to F350.

I pull a 2018 DRV Elite suite 40kssb4

Honest question. What is it about your 17 F450 that makes you want a 3 year older version besides the brakes HP/TQ.

I would assume the 17 is more than adequate for the DRV.

My 2017 f450 still works fine for me but a 10-speed transmission is intriguing.

Turning radius alone is worth the upgrade!

Depends on who you talk to--have read of at least one person who was told at Morryde plant to cut them if needed clearance--in the same category, if you call MR and ask--"Don't do it." I had several ASME certified welders look at my setup and they told me the flange was not necessary--is that an "OK" to cut, don't know. Took it off my '05 36TK3 and then the '15 RSSA with no difference in towing results, except no hits...
