Question Would you do this?

The RV spin on Air B&B, https://www.outdoorsy.com
I would not do it, but wondering how many people would? I get a motorized RV, but trusting that they are towing it with the correct vehicle would be a huge concern for the towables.

An advantages for people renting one would be they could rent a model they were thinking of buying to make sure it is what they wanted.

Nope...
The Missus doesn't like Motel rooms; because somebody else "might: have slept in the bed.
If you're talking about renting yours out...
That's an even stronger NOPE!

Bob, if you read my first post. I said that I would not do it. Even if I wanted to, I fulltime in my rig so it would be impossible. I already have one roommate, my wife. I do not need any others.
I just stumbled across this and thought I would post it up. First to see if anyone would do it and also people might be able to rent an exact model before they buy one to see if would really work for them.

I would not. After figuring maintenance, repairs, tires, wear and tear, insurance, cleaning, constant worry, I don't think I would be interested it that venture. I once considered it away back in the 70's but after I loaned my 74 Ram Charger and 75 Road Runner TT to my brother who took his family to Yellowstone I didn't get a single nights sleep until they returned. So never to a stranger.

No Way

I would be interested to find out if anyone would rent out their pride and joy to strangers that probably never had an RV.

No. Not only that, looking at it from the other side, I wouldn’t rent from a private person either.

I’ve rented from Cruise America and smaller rental companies on various occasions, but I wouldn’t consider another person’s trailer or motorhome. It’s too personal for me.

We own two houses, rent one of them out BUT we're NOT renting the DRV out!! No way, no how.

On a side note though, my brother rented a house through air bnb that we're going to stay in for a few days on a fishing trip next week.

I would never rent my personal one out. I do know a lot of the people using that site buy used TT, Tent and Axis / Vegas is popular. Some have 3 or more as a RV Rental Business. Same people list them Facebook Marketplace & Craigs list.

Dan,
I had not noticed any high end units listed. I would even hate to imagine what a ONE million dollar and up Prevost would even rent for.
