No talk on the hitch brand yet, but there is plenty of speculation.
According to the Kirby's, they had traveled about 65 miles that day when the trailer came off, played Pong between the Jersey barriers, did not hit any other vehicles and came to a stop upright. They posted pictures of everything but the hitch head. Totaled and I think he mentioned some minor damage to the truck.
No injuries.

Highest rating I have found in the past is 22K, but nothing new is listed over 19K.
When I was looking for short bed truck hitches I looked at this pinbox. I wouldn't use it on a 16K trailer let alone a 24K 3 axle. I don't care for the mechanicals of it.
Best I can tell, you have full pin weight on the pin, but it is not equal from front to back of the pin. this pin box pivots under the trailer connection, not at the pin. That would load the back side of the pin and unload the front side (top side).
