Personally have never heard that complaint before. Too many don't understand that center of kingpin should be placed at least 2" forward of center of rear axle. That is how hitches were installed before pucks.

On the RAM puck setup full forward the pin is somewhere between 2 and 4" forward.

Hello all,

Just picked up a new to me 2020 38RSSA. After driving home I noticed a light that was broken. It is a light on the rear up close to the running lights. First, what is it, next how do I turn it on and lastly, anyone know what the replacement is?

Glad to be here learning already.

Dave

Just a WAG but maybe it’s a high mounted brake light? Should be able to gat a new one for cheap if it’s not a warranty item.

Check and see if this has your back up camera installed in it. These are hard to find replacement. You can remove this with the other screw and inspect, clean and re-install. I resealed mine and replace the LED in the housing if this has red lights..

In 2019 DRV eliminated the frenched in combi reverse scare lights.
Replaced it with a flat mount scare light and a center mount rear LED reverse light.

The reverse light works well, but it is cheaply made and falls apart after 2 years or so.

Thanks everyone. I took it off and found the P/N. It comes up as a porch light. Must be the reverse light like you say. Got to order one. Thanks again.
