Talking Taking your toys with you

WOW, talk about taking your toys with you. Boat, Jeep, HD motorcycle and 2 bicycles.
I have never seen this set up before and probably will never see it again.

You should work in an RV park. You would not believe some of the things you might see.

The boat and trailer are on a lift. Move the jeep and lower deck stuff hit the button and down it comes.

We did see this once:

On that trailer included:
  • Golf Cart
  • Full size BBQ
  • Full size Smoker
  • Other cookware (large pot for boiling lobster + burner)
  • Bikes

Yeah not nearly as many toys, however. All of the cooking devices were used: dinner was smoked one night, BBQ'd the other, and lunch was lobster.

Hitching up involved the daughter facetiming dad driving the truck holding her phone over the 2nd hitch and the trailer.

Maybe full timer? Looks and sounds expensive till you figure out he is not paying property taxes, elec., water etc. on a home...

the guy in the original post needs to make up his mind and pick a hobby!

I once saw a guy in a CG who had a pickup truck with a nicely done homemade rig to load a bass boat on top of the truck...sorta like this guy but without the trailer and the motorcycle.

But what it makes me think of is my old popup camper....and all the work to set-up and break "camp" each time. Gives me heartburn thinking about it!

That one and the original pic: It may have been more fun to engineer the solution than actually use it

I'm waiting for the time when someone posts a pic like these--either the first one or the one I posted and a member here replies with "Hey that's me!".

My first though with the first pic is, what a disaster waiting to happen. Top heavy and certainly not a balanced 60% forward of the axles load. I think it's more of an ego trip and just how much crap can I show off than a functional pleasure trip. Can you imagine getting to the campground at 9PM. The trailer doesn't have rear stab jacks so it must stay on the coach for unloading. Looking at those wheels, it can't be more than dual 5500# axles. He ain't right!!

I have to admit to being a bit curious about the overall height of that pile of stuff...

Boat probably weighs in around 500 lbs, outboard motor 250lbs. 750 lbs is far less weight than that Jeep. Likely it isn't top heavy.

I would also bet that the weight of the motorcycle in front of the Jeep counter balances the outboard motor.

Still, however, I wouldn't want to be pulling all that and loading/unloading is probably a very delicate dance.

He could be a snowbird type heading long-range wherever hes going for months and all the unloading drama would be worth it to have all those toys with you...Either way...nerve-wrecking ride for sure.

This was taken by a Friend in OK. Towing two ball type trailers IMHO is a BAD idea. Curious if that's legal in OK, as it is NOT in most. The overall length can be an issue.

Any guesses on the length?
