In an empty parking lot when no one is around pull over one of the the catch basins and remove the top grate. Church is a good option. EZ-PEE-ZEE

Are you going to replace the four lines for the front jacks?

Sounds like my big boating days where we had to dig pits under the boats to drop the rudders and sometimes to pull shafts.

At this point I do not have a pit or a location to dig a hole. A fellow that has some waste land, wants to lift the pin. My calculations is the pin will have to be lifted and extra 48 inches. I don't like the idea of putting that much reverse weight on the rear Morryde axle. A 48 inch raise of the pin will just allow the rear hitch to just touch the ground, yet give about about 48 inches for the jack to drop.

Safety is a whole difference story, Especially on returning the jacks. As for the angle of the raise is about 9 degrees so internal contents moving would be minimum as I did steeper hills.
Once the jacks are removed it will be harder to get the Coach back on the truck.

I need more reasons to deep a hole even by hand.

So I ask about their pit. No don't have a pit, you drop them a bit and wriggle them around.
I had someone, 2 hours away, talking to me who has acreage, Back-hoe and some augers. But I'm waiting on his schedule.

I have all the hydraulics removed and tomorrow I may have a closer location to dig my own hole.

I saw a video where a guy was in a parking lot and used a water drainage pit. He pulled the metal grate so he had the depth. I think a sewer system would be way to deep.

THANK YOU DAN!!! I just don't have the tech savvy.

Yes Tom and Kate are real nice people. We met them at the DRV Factory in 2016. They also stayed at our property in WA for a bit a couple years ago.

They are part of the TV show "The RVers"

Relax. He said he was having problems getting it done, so I just suggested it to him or you could say reminded him of it. Bottom line it seemed like he needed help.

I am very "RELAXED"

Seemed odd after giving a perfect proven solution he kept talking about raising/digging etc.

So I hope he tells us what he ends up doing with PICS please.

Update the digging a hole didn't happen but a long drive around town Monday I did find business that had a few manholes and mostly had morning deliveries. So I was able use a manhole in the delivery driveway. No problem.
I will them them this morning get a shipping container made.
Going together could be a 3 man project like threading a needle.
Thanks for the help.

Good deal!!! Three people couldn't hurt but not needed.

You have not mentioned your four front hoses, are you replacing them while it's easy and not required?

How about a picture of your package after it's ready for shipping. Curious if both tubes are somehow connected or????????

I took the Rams and Silver tubes to FedEx for a shipping estimate and packaging. The packing wasn't bad so they got the job. I paid Freight on the 36 pounds (each) plus $$ for the box. If I would have packaged, I would paid freight on my packaging also. It appears they were using a big cube box with lots bubble wrap and brown paper. Les uses FedEx the same way so I expect I will see similar package in return. I insured for what I expect is replacement cost.
The hoses I'm taking to Illinois for replacement.
No problem getting anything done in the Kerrville area (except finding a pit) where as the Memphis area I was in, was not AG related but lawnmower friendly.
Clay Thanks to all and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

That is exactly how I would have shipped them.

Not sure why you are waiting to replace hoses as it's such a simple job now that the rams are removed??????

Get this fitting and pull the two long hoses thru.

When replacing the hoses they will not be color coordinated as in orange extend. Buy a roll of orange electrical tape and tape each end of the new extend lines for easier identification.

I'm replacing the hoses but I don't suspect the Rams to be back to Texas much before I return from Illinois. I using a Illinois builder I have used before.
The fitting was purchased when I bought the caps and plugs.

Well I finally received acknowledgement from FedEx that the shipment will be delivered Monday, It was to be delivered Dec 15 and for 3 days FedEx could not tell me where the package was. Pending the time of delivery I suspect I will receive a call from Les on Tuesday.
The replacement hoses are in my car. For the record there was no leaks but one short had a weakened side from a kink. One long hose had a small cut (not a rub) near the middle, which would have over the Generator enclosure (from hose manufacture??). Anyway the hose will be routed and secured in a different location going back. New hoses are 4,000 PSI rated

The ones I installed were rated to 10k. But you put ones that have 1000 psi more then the stock ones. Using good fittings is the key.
