Same recall on motorhomes so competition for new fittings will be fierce.

Wrong.

Made by Fairview.

"RV Fairview began manufacturing LP gas hose assemblies for the recreational vehicle market in the early 1970s. Today, over 75% of all recreational vehicles manufactured in North America incorporate Fairview's LP-gas system components."

This guy tends to over sensationalize things like a hypochondriac grandma... but the information IS factual about RV propane fittings AND will affect many owners:

This statement is about as vague as Curt being deceitful about their manufacturing. Receiver hitches are made in USA but their 5er hitches are all Made in China.

I sent them an email so we will see if they respond.

Grasping for straws is "Assembled in America from foreign sourced parts". How stupid do they think people are?

Like a good friend always said to me "prove it"

Not doubting you but many like to do smoke and mirrors when it comes to things being made here.

There is Made here and then there are assembled here etc.

Prove what? That Flex-Tech provided the parts? See the Part 573 Safety Recall Report attached.

That Flex-Tech has a plant in Goshen? Simple Google search.

That Flex-Tech uses parts manufactured by Enerco out of Clevland OH? See the attached report.

That the brass came from China? Unless you have Enerco's records your guess is as good as anybody's. That's up to you to "prove it".

Sir you are the one that said "Nope, made by Flex Tech in Goshen, IN."

So far i have not seen anything specifically stating where the cracked part is MADE. Did I miss something?

From the attached NHTSA document above:

"The supplier (Flex-Tech) indicated that they had and were
conducting immediate and complete internal retraining."

Do you think the retraining was on assembling the disconnect (which was not the problem), or on properly manufacturing the defective brass part?

I don't assume, I hope I get a response from the email I sent.

Might be, but my point of this post is to show the DRV owners there is a recall.

ZACTLY!!!

If mine had this issue a pipe wrench and end wrench would be all I would need to remove and replace with a new valve for me to continue with my life.

Nobody questioned why you made the post. I simply made a statement of fact in that their will be competition for the parts to apply the recall.
