Rubber Roof Warranty

Any experience with the rubber roof warranty? The white on my 2015 41RSSB4 is coming off.

Question, do you keep it covered with a tarp?

So your roof is now black? I say this because I believe there is a black layer under the white one.

It is turning black because the white layer is coming off. At first I though it was mold stain, but I read somewhere that it may be the white is coming off. So I looked closer. I know that I can coat the roof with a roof paint but if it is covered under warranty, I want to try that first. If I have to pay for the labor to have the roof replaced under warranty then I know what I need to do. I have a question in to DRV but we all know how that works. Although I did get a quick response from them about the slide repair cable.

Is it getting hotter inside your rig? As black will absorbs the sun vs white reflecting it. I would think that they would say that it is still intact, so replacement is not necessary as it has not failed.
How bad is it? Pictures?

On the road now for couple more days. Pics soon.

I really just want to know how the warranty works. Take it to a dealer? Contact DRV? Is labor covered?

should not have to. People who 24/7 on the road can't.

If you paint it you will void the warranty. Warranty should be for 12 years. read your owners manual.

Never said he should have!

My question was more to say that the black spots can be the result of being tarped if he did so.

The membrane, which sounds like the issue here, is covered for 12 years, but if the membrane is coming loose from the roof or wrinkled the roof warranty does not cover poor installation.

Should I assume the warranty is from the manufacture of the roof material and not DRV?

You might need to contact DRV or even you dealer might know.
