My insurance from National General Insurance for my 2018 DRV 38RSSA has risen $200 per year the last 3 years. Is this a normal increase for your DRV’s?

Mine has stayed the same for several years. Did you start with them 3 years ago? I ask because there are some places that give introductory rates and raise them like your saying. It also could be where you live. Have you gotten any tickets? Has your credit changed?

Our 2019 Vegas 24.1 is insured by Progressive. The renewal was about 8% lower. Cannot comment on anything else as we have not had any claims.

My ins rate has changed very little in 10 years. I have found that ins rates are very personal as to habits, location, credit rating and values. Your next door neighbor can have completely different structure on the same vehicle. Never had a vehicle older than 3 years though.

Credit score is a BIGGIE and the one that got me years ago was having too many CC's that I did NOT use like the ones when Lowe's opens and they give 20% off when opening a new CC. Dumped all but two CC's and all went to the best rates possible.
Here is ours with towing and road side assistance, plus high coverages. American Family Ins

Well our credit score is around 850, no tickets, no claims in the 3 years we’ve had the DRV. Guess I’m gonna have to shop around.

Must be your zip code then. Have you called them to ask them why they raised it 20%? The South and West costal states have had a lot of damage lately. Rates usually go up if you are registered in those areas. And sometimes they just go up to cover those costs all over. I had boat US for years and after Isabell my rates shot up 20%. I said screw that, I’m not going to pay for all of the damage to Florida. I switched the boat insurance over to Progessive and never looked back.

Do you have a stated value?
On our Landmark which I sold in 2017, we never paid over 200 dollars for full coverage with Farm Bureau, annually
However we had a package policy
Geico seems to be very competitive for motor homes

Comprehensive and collision are both $500 deductible on my policy. If it were to be totaled they would pay what the cash value was at the time. Also $1,000 personal property but if that number were to be exceeded my homeowners would pay the extra minus it's deductible.

You pay $221 a year for full timing coverage?

I think a stated value is only good for 5 years.

ACV policies are cheap; but they also provide the least coverage. Please find out what a Stated (Sometimes called, "Agreed") Value policy would cost. If a total loss were to occur: they pay the amount that the contract states.
(Less the deductible)

I am covered for 12 mo at that rate. I do still have a house. Not sure if that matters.
I asked about value and it is what the market value is plus any upgrades etc.
With Farmers I had it insured for 100k but the fact is they would still pay what the market value was if totaled.

WOW, that is cheap. Is your policy a full timers one?

That's per month, maybe quarter, not year, correct?
My spidy senses are tingling. Or do they charge you the end of Sept. for a policy that started on August 30?
