Screen Door Slide

I hope one of you folks know the answer to this simple question. I have a 2015 Dallas with a 28" entrance door and the screen door with flexible plastic covers to make it like a storm door. The question is, where can I get the plastic sliding part of the screen door that you slide open to access the door latch. Mine is cracked again and I would rather get a replacement from somewhere other than DRV. It is kinda pricey from there. The dimensions of this part are, plastic insert part - 26" wide by 12" tall, sliding part - 12" x 12". If I could keep my big elbow away from this part when coming in or going out the door with a arm load of stuff, maybe I would not break these things.

This part is manufactured by Challenger Door in Nappanee IN. (There should be a tag on the edge of your door.) Call their parts department.

https://www.challengerdoor.com/contact/

It cost me $17 for one if I recall correctly.

Thanks MnP for the info. I just ordered the clear slider. They have the part in stock and it will be shipped to me shortly. The cost was $19.08 which is very reasonable.

I agree about the very nice Lady and the Lady I dealt with is very knowledgeable about the products they have.

When I contacted them a few months ago the lady told me the price was $15. Then she told me the shipping and handling would cost $20. Pretty expensive piece of breakable plastic for $35 don't you think?

I'll bet it is going to look better than the duct tape patch work I now have making the cost pocket change. Especially since my Bride will be a happy Bride again when I get it installed.
