Stuff on the kitchen slide out roller

Went to get ready for our first trip and noticed what I thought was TAR on the floor in front of the kitchen slide-out roller. I put the slide out and went to clean it up and it was crystalized. I swept it up and cleaned up some small amount of tar-like residue.

Anybody have any idea what it could be. It had no smell whatsoever.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Don, what did the roller look like? Is that somehow breaking down? We haven’t experienced anything like that with our unit.

I’ll be curious to find out what’s going on though, hopefully it’s not serious.

Picture of Kitchen Slide ROLLER

Dan

Not sure what it is. Here is a picture of the roller. Doesn't look like it is breaking down. I used a mirror and looked up under the slide and didn't see an indication of anything unusual. You can see some of the specks on the floor. There was a large amount when I first went to the trailer which has been at our storage lot since Nov of 2020.

Puzzling ??

Don, not sure what's going on there, it is puzzling for sure. Hopefully somebody else can chime in here with another idea.

My roller doesn't look exactly like yours though.........
