Probably one of the reasons they changed it to Southwire brand when they were acquired. The "Brand Name" was a bit off since not all products had surge protection.

I did a copy of his pic, and it is close to what I have. Although I've an item or two ...

You can see the chunk missing out of the tire. And those are my correct date codes on the tires.
As stated before I now know I am protected electrically from the power pedestal.
Thank you

If that is all that is wrong with your tires all I can say is you are wasting your $ by replacing them.
What part of CA are you? Like I said I would be HAPPY to take those off your hands.
This is what you need to be looking for. These tires are very solid but a year earlier they had a run that the center three ribs would start to raise up compared to the two outer edges as shown. The result if ignored is in the second pic.
Contact GY tech support and send them a pic of the issues and let us know what they say.

Goodyear should cover that tire. As they had an issue with tires delaminating. But you need to make sure that you go to a corporate owned
Goodyear dealer.
On a side note, is there a reason that you chose not to except PMs?

Cummins12v98, So i'd be happy to give them to you. SF bay area. Your welcome to contact GY and see what they say.
Rynosback, I didn't know i chose to disable, i believe its changed now.
This is what i'm replacing them with.
I just bought the rig and need to register it first before I take the tires to swap them out. Cali is going to hit me hard with their fees.
Sorry need to save some $ to have them replaced. I thought it was a tremendous deal to get the other tires for free.

Nope, still disabled. It should just take 3 clicks to correct it. See attached images with directions. Hope this helps.

Kind of in the same boat on the east coast. We just moved to Delaware from New Jersey in December.
Delaware is considered on the lower end of the taxing scale then many states, but they do tax retirement income over $12,000, have a 4% tax on all house sales split 50/50 buyer/seller and when I go to register the DRV I will have to pony up 4.25% of the retail trade value. Doesn't matter that we already paid New Jersey 7% tax when we bought it.
And 2019 DRV's still are not listed on the NADA used vehicle trailer which is what Delaware uses as a guide. 2019's still come up as "new", so no trade value.
Yearly registration will be pricey as well. $40 for the first 5,000 pounds then $18 for each 1,000 pounds over 5,000. One of the few bargains in New Jersey was the yearly $23 registration.

Why register it there? Why not in SD, TX or Florida? I know of a member that has a house in Washington state and has SD tags. And from what I understand, his Washington address is on his SD registration card. Not sure how that one works, but he said it does. In SD you would not have to pay any sales tax if you have already paid over there 4% tax rate. Plus no income tax at all.

Essentially that is a form of tax fraud.
Florida does a lot of research on ‘residents’ and the 181 day rules.
If we were going full time I would be doing something for a tax advantage.

But not if you spend 181 days out of the state. You can still own a house and travel a lot. There are quite a few people that travel 6 months or more a year. Everyone’s situation is different so there is not a one things fits all.

Sure thing.
And our initial plan was not to buy a house.
Our house sold, unlisted, pretty much for our asking price.
Had a contract at a Ft Myers RV park and we were just going to get rid of most everything, put the rest in storage then hit the road until we were ready.
Things change

Congratulations on the quick sale and getting what you asked for it. Yes, things do change, that is why I love the fulltime lifestyle. It allows you to do what you need to do.

Well, It started out as an electrical question BUT the OP did mention changing tires so sideways we went and more than just a little. Now, how we got onto where and how to register an RV but it was sideways again! You'll get used to it.

It happens from time to time. The poster or someone said something not related to the original topic. It is just easier sometime to just address it in the same thread.
