Tell me about your Hotspot

So here we are using our WiFi Ranger and trying to watch Netflix. The signal is good however we are competing with a full rv park and that does not work so well. Anyone using a Hotspot for their tv viewing? We have a Smart tv in our basement so we can pick up Netflix and Hulu. If so how many GB of data are you needing for this purpose? Are you happy with it?

In the past we've used a personal hotspot provided by my iPad to watch MLB games at a campground. Ended up going way over the data limit (about 2x for a total of 4GB at the time). The problem was the automatic texts from AT&T indicating we were getting close to the limit were delayed by about 24 hours (as a consequence all the trip home I kept getting texts "you're over limit" LOL).

We use our AT&T phones for our hotspot. We dont stream shows and have never used all of our 30gig of data.

When I read the title, I thought you wanted to know about this bar I know in Bangkok.....

Then I figured out you wanted a WiFi hotspot.... WE use my Verizon phone as it has a LOT better coverage in more places than my wife's AT&T phone.

use my at&t phone
haven't paid a huge amount of attention to usage, but we're fine to let the kids stream a bit on their ipads and we might watch 1 or 2 movies on netflix.... in a weekend period....

There is no clear answer as if you watch a HD version vs standard DEF.
