Wow those are quite impressive for their creativity.

You'd think a good PDI would have caught most of that stuff, however, since much of it was very blatant (I wonder if the dealer saw them coming a mile away and just sold them the crap unit sitting on the lot).

The video speaks volumes to the "quality" or LACK THERE OF through out the industry!

I wonder how long it will take before as an industry, RV manufactures will wake up. They're riding quite a wave recently but sooner or later (I hope) it will change. RV repair shops are loving the trend, we have an RV repair facility within a few miles of our house and they're EXTREMELY busy! Their lot is near capacity all summer season!

Let's not mention how taxed a camper trailer is with 2 adults and TEN KIDS!!!

A little more enlightening song for you...

I was thinking the same thing. I would bet that they were WAY overloaded. Which could have caused a lot of there issues. But you never know.

That is so true, as a good dealer would more then likely caught a lot of issues. There are only two dealers that I would buy a DRV from. That speaks to there selling dealers.

Sad but true with the state of RV dealers today! It's all about the bottom line, consumer be damned! Why spend time fixing a problem when we can ship it out and let the consumer either fix it or wait months to have it repaired and then get frustrated and pay someone else to fix it. The dealer is money ahead! Sad day indeed!

I'm a happy camper...mine must have been made on Wednesday. Most people I know have had pretty good experience with Thor. We never hear the other side of the story...12 people in a camper trailer full time living is gross overload...in all aspects of the word!! Maybe all of them sleeping in the bathrooms and on top of the countertops and in the cabinets have contributed to part of their issues.

I don't think so; look at the overhead shot that 5er is huge.

Besides you can get popups rated to sleep 12 (seems like the smaller the unit the more people its rated to sleep--especially trailers).

My brother used to have a 37ft trailer that could easily sleep 12 (had 4 bunks in one end).

I have two buddies that just this year bought new fifth wheels, one bought a 2018 KZ Gold in February, he just picked up his trailer last week from the dealer after getting back from Florida..... front jacks needed to be replaced!! He started having jack problems in March.

My other friend bought a new 2018 Jayco Pinnacle in January, once the weather warmed enough he discovered his front AC didn't work. When addressed it was a "loose connection" at the roof! UNBELIEVABLE

It's just really sad that this stuff is happening more frequently and these manufactures don't seem to be too bothered about it.

"Rated to sleep" doesn't mean it's designed for it...it only means there's enough convertible space to pack that many inside...ever opened a sardine can? Can you imagine 12 people full time in anything??? Kids are brutal and don't understand campers are made from eggshells. My house is 4400SF and I don't even want 12 people here!!

LOL! Oh yeah 12 people full time is a mess, just saying they wouldn't have to sleep on the counters (and some of those kids were/are small so they could bunk together).

In overcrowded habitats: mice are known to eat their young.
Perhaps we should take a lesson from them!

Just make soup out of them while they're still young, and their bones are soft...
