Question. Do you have your tires balanced?
Thanks for your help.

Tire Balancing

You didn't state the tire size, but tires should ALWAYS be balanced, especially the front steering tires. Look for a tire dealer than can Force Balance them which is the most precise process. Car tire dealers typically cannot. Do not let the installer throw a bag of balance beans in the tire while mounting unless this is a new tire being installed during road service (blowout, for example).

Are you asking about the trailer of the tow vehicle? I don't know anyone running normal tires on their tow vehicle that doesn't have them balanced.

As for the trailer, I'm not actually sure if mine are or not!

I have never had to replace a camper trailer tire and really don't know if the factory balances them or not. I was told by a tire dealership one time when replacing utility trailer tires that they usaully don't balance those. Now that being said, I would if I had to replace them on the MS. But I'm not worrying about them now.

No, I assume (ass-u-me) that they have been balanced from the factory or where they bought the rim/tire combo. But I just looked and there are no weights on either side of the rim. HMMMMMM.

One option would be to put some Dino beads in them.

When I replaced the tires on my unit they did not balance them as I asked, did not check. Went down the road, and there was heavy vibration from the rear pulled over checked the Truck tires while stop a person stopped and said the the trailer tires were bouncing up and down. No weights. went back to. the tire store raised heck, and the guys mounting the tires said they never balance trailer tire. I said if this was you 60K trailer would you want stuff bounced around inside. They did all four were not happy about it. Showed them the bill where I paid for the balance and the metal steams.. No more bounce

I assumed you thought they were balanced by your comment. I noticed they were not when i changed the brake pads. I will have mine balanced. Not so much for the tires sake but the bearings.

You will only be able to get them static balanced unless you have them place stick on weights on the outer lip. Look into Dino beads. No need to have any weights and they will not go out of balance as the tire wears.

They will apply the weights to the inside of the wheels like they did on my Dually wheels. The tires and wheels that i bought from trailertiresandwheels.com came with the weights applied to the inside not the lip.

I placed Dino beads into my motorcycle wheels as they were chromed and did not want to see weights and scratch the chrome. I think I wil put them in the trailer tires.

I've run Dyna beads in everything from bikes to the tires on the semi. They work great! Just be sure that if you have a TPMS system that you use the appropriate valve stems.

I honestly haven't noticed on the new MS. Anytime I have new tires installed, I have the wheels balanced. Since I'm running the TST 507 TPMS with the flow-through sensors, I'm a little cautious about the Dyna beads - if I have to pull the wheels and dismount the tires to change valve stems, I might as well have the tires and wheels dynamically balanced.
