I but a three pack made by Culligan for the in coach filter. I also use the standard blue filter as a pre filter to everything.

Filters and parts from https://www.rvwaterfilterstore.com/

I usually wait for sales or coupons offered to various clubs.

I replaced the single OEM filter with a triple, with optional clear housings. Using their one step below “south of the border” filter set.
Also using their sink tap filter kit.

For sanitizing I switched to Purogen sanitizer.
We carry water and use it for all purposes, including drinking.

Outside I have the large RV water softener with a sediment filter in front of it.

I also use an external charcoal prefilter (large one just like the RV one), but flush any supply hose before connecting the prefilter. A fellow camper once asked why I did this and I took the prefiller apart and showed him all the crap on the filter.
We always fill up at home so we know we have good water to start, in case there is an issue where we're going and always use our house tank and pump and only refill our tank as necessary from local supplies.

Still don’t think I’ve resolved the plugged filter problem. I’m back at the same campground, and again a plugged filter. Red as in rust looking on the filter. I’ve asked my neighbors and none of them are having problems. This don’t make sense!

I would try checking the water supply in order, one stage at a time.
First check from supply at the campground faucet only, then connect your hose but not the RV and check for clean good flow, then co nect to your RV and open your filter and check the flow to it. If everything is good up to the filter, but once you connect the filter and check flow you have something rusty looking, I'd suspect the water heater (do you get rust coming out of both hot and cold or just hot?

Or they have been there long enough and don't realize there is a problem. Or they're weekenders and didn't realize...

Ask them if you can put a T on there water supply and use the water from there site or just change sites. You could even just go to a different campground. If I knew that one had a water, sewer or power issue, I would never go there and hook up. Is this the same site that you were in last time? Has the campground investigated this issue? As I think they have known about this issue since you first told them.

It can not be the water heater. As the water is filtered before the water heater not after it. And his issue is that the filter keeps getting clogged.

The way I understand it the water goes through the filter before it goes to the heater.
