Water pump issues
I have a 2018 MS I very rarely use the water pump however the other day I turned it on I can hear it running and water started to backflow out the Hose connection I did have water at the faucets in the RV but the pump would not shut off. I have the Standard RV valve manrv 102 I tried to turn the knob (black) just a little bit to see if the valve wouldn’t close properly however that had no effect i’m not sure if there’s some kind of check valve in there any help would be greatly appreciated.

Should be simple to fix. There is a check valve on the pump and it can get stuck or jammed with a piece of debris. Easily disassembled and cleaned or cheaply replaced.

It depends on which Kantleak system you have. If you have the older plastic one, you need to change the valve settings. The newer brass one does not need to have the valve position changed.

I have the newer brass one I changed it about a year ago for the tank sanitation option which I’ve never used it lol so it must be the water pump do I just pull the whole end off of it and clean it are there any springs I should be leery of or is it this pretty simple straightforward

Check valve at the inlet.
With the pump on, eraser end of a pencil, push in the center - stand to the side.

The pump's inherent check valve failing will NOT cause water to flow back out the city water inlet connection. It is the check valve in the hose connection.

Oh boy, does that mean I am replacing the whole Anderson valve again?

Thank you so much for everyone’s help I really appreciate it after a few beers and staring at it for an hour or so I realized it was just the check valve on the city water inlet hose connection. It had some kind of debris that was not allowing it to seal properly after a few pokes with A screwdriver Walla working perfect.

A screwdriver can damage the valve surface, that’s why I suggested the eraser end of a pencil.
