I'll bet that figuring out the hitch situation would be a real bear...

Are you sure you do not want to go Gas instead of Diesel?

Aqua-Jet is the BOMB
I installed an AquaJet water pump in my 2018 Thor WindSport 29m. Think it was the biggest one with the variable function. Why, cause more is ALWAYS BETTER! I ended up with an air leak somewhere and just let CW find it and fix. When we had the old pump, if you ran the kitchen sink while someone was in the shower, it was like getting peed on. I think it works better now but not what I was expecting or hoping for. I kept the old pump of coarse in case this one fails. It's under the dinette seat where the pump is. I covered the pump with a cardboard box and several towels to make it quiet. It is rather loud! I'd recommend them and there easy to install!! Bob Trice

Make sure to check that it isn't overheating being covered up like that. After a shower I think would be best time to check.

Just replaced my pump which is under the bed and also had a problem with the water lines in the back shower (came loose and insulation had come off). The noise and vibration every time the pump kicked on was significant. Took it into a Thor dealer and they secured the lines and replaced the water pump with a rubber pad under it. The noise level has significantly dropped however the pump is in an echo chamber under the bed and unless you relocate it you will hear it to some degree. Mine is acceptable. I have a 2017 35M WindSport.

The stock water pump in our 2018 ACE 30.4 was pretty loud, and did not produce very much flow, not enough for even a fair shower. And it was either on or off, of course. Upgraded it with a variable flow Aquajet and we’re very happy with it. Quieter, low flow for low demand, high flow for high demand, and plenty for a proper shower. Definitely a nice upgrade.

Hello,
First I would recommend you find one that has a anti cycling to prevent that surging sound some pumps make driving you crazy every time you open a valve.
Than check what the manufacturer recommends for pressure and flow rating (gpm) for your RV
Then check your connection type to your water lines for easy installation.
And last pick a quality pump

Our water pumps are in the basement and little noise travels thru to the bed area.
I personally think my stock WP is much better than the one that was in our 07.5 MS.

Mine is in the basement, under the bed. I can hear it from anywhere in the trailer forward of the island.
I recently moved some too short PEX lines around that were hitting the pump, that helped.
Next time we are spending any time with no water hookup I plan on experimenting a bit.
I have a spare pump that I'll connect to the tank drain and water inlet, let the pump sit on the ground.

Our original pump was really noisy and vibrated so badly you could hear it 20 feet away. Tightening mounting bolts and adding padding did not help. I bought a Shurflo 4008-E65 3.0 and some short flexible conduit. The installation was straightforward. It is way quieter and works well, although the flow rate is about the same.

If we have to ration water due to no water or sewer hook up we use 12-15 gallons of fresh water each day. We have a 70 gallon freshwater holding tank, 50 gallon grey water, 20 gallon black water, so we can go three or four days between fill-ups and dumping between two people. We generally take a brief shower daily, and do most of our own cooking and dishwashing.

I think we'd all be better if they would run 3/4" feed pipe then 1/2" to the fixtures. We always seem to have low flow if two valves are open. I think the larger volume would help.
I replumbed our house and used 1" feeder lines then dropped to 1/2" plenty of flow thru out the house
Just my 2 cents

My rigs just keeps getting added to the list of something lately.
Do you think that my water pump is bad? As water is coming out of the seem of the white cap on the pump. I check the Phillips head screws to see if they were loose and they are not. I traced it to that because I noticed water coming out of the belly weep holes.
Have we come up with a good replacement?

You may have a bad seal if the pump is working, you may be able to order a new gasket and replace it to solve the leak.
however you may just want to replace it if it's already leaking with a better or more reliable model.
