Amazon has the Hughes 50 amp auto former for $578 + tax. Is there a better price? How long is the male pigtail coming out of the auto former?

Because I don’t follow the herd. I’ve bought a few cheap things from eBay, less than $50. But $500 electronics, or $400, or $300—————-just ain’t gonna do it. But, that’s me; you do what you want; it’s a free country. Thank you Mr. Trump.

And for some reason, this site has gotten a little antagonistic. That’s why I don’t visit very often. “add value to your post”, to me, that says PROVE IT! I don’t have to prove anything. I ‘choose’ not order high dollar items from eBay. They’ve faced a lot of law suits.

I'm with you clev, too little protection on Ebay whether you're the buyer or seller. I'd much rather pay a few dollars more and get it from Amazon.

And Ducksface can come across a little rough but I don't think he means it that way; just sprinkle a little salt on his posts.

I just wanted to know if there was value in my not using ebay.
It had to do with reason and not proof.

Had you typed:
'I like turtles'
I'd have asked you why.

Had you typed:
'I don't buy higher end products from eBay due to a lack of trust of sellers'
I'd have had no question at all.

I'm having some of the ebay type problems with Amazon lately. Misidentified items, wrong descriptions, vendors using the names of companies they arent allowed to, 16 week shipping out shipping dates.
The last tpms I needed, I needed one that read down to about 9lbs so it wouldn't set an alarm when I aired down for rock crawling. I ordered the one which said zero lbs to 66lbs. It won't go below 22lbs. It's going back to amazon. That's the type of thing I was looking for as enlightening to your short comment.

No problem, duck; sometimes I have a senior moment and misinterpret; LOL. You nailed it with 'trusting sellers'. I, personally, have not had any problems with any of the few items that I have ordered from eBay, but have read about others that have. And then there's law suits that I've seen on Judy and Pcourt. I've dealt with Amazon for at least 4 years, get a 5% discount, and have no problems with returns. There are about 10 companies that I will deal with on line for high end products; eBay is not one of them,.

Mine is older and was able to mount to the left. Ryans is newer and needed to be mounted to the right.

Plug orientation on back of AF and his having read outs on left side made his needed to be to the right.

The male plug you mount to the RV wiring needs to have the pull handle cut off if it has one. Ryan can post pic of that.

Be sure to use QUALITY ends!!!

I stated that with the write up. The good news is that it was a solid core handle, so there was no need to fill what was left of the handle.
