'16 Majestic 23 (ex Cruise America) looking for coach wiring diagram.

Having house battery discharge problem. (New group 31 AGM went flat in 7 days with "nothing" running.) Charging systems work fine.

Welcome to the forum. Do you have a use/store switch that needs to be switched to store?

Welcome aboard!
Since you got it from Cruise America: perhaps they can supply a wiring diagram?
Good luck!

Thanks gang

16ACE27: It's in a storage yard half an hour from home. A wiring diagram would let me make educated guesses where to start before I get there. My time at the yard is limited, so having a clue what I'm looking at and where things are will add efficiency. I put a shunt on the battery cable so I can watch amps real time on my multimeter. I'd really like to get my head around the bundle of snakes that is the DC bus.

coachray: No disconnects that I can find in the DC system. I'm going to put a battery cut-off switch between the battery neg and ground as a band-aid. Nothing like an air gap to keep the current flow down!

Bob: Cruise America hasn't responded to email requests. A visit to the location I bought the rig from is on the agenda.

Contact Thor and ask for the wiring diagrams. After all it was build by Thor. Also, go on the Thor website under owner resources and set up an account and enter the VIN - never know what you might find.

Easy to mount and no added wires to run.
Extra remotes are $10

LOL - after Cruise America sells their "on their last leg" units to consumers; they're zero help. Worst company ever!

Thor Majestic from Cruise America

Actually had the misfortune of purchasing a Majestic model refurbished unit that Cruise America claimed to have inspected for safety. We took the unit to a local dealer who inspected and discovered several major safety hazards (particularly with the generator) which they told us was a major fire hazard. When we confronted Cruise America about this, they claim no responsibility. Their insurance program they kindly sell you with the unit for additional money on their part, points the finger at them claiming they never should sell units to the public that are not properly maintained...therefor no insurance claim. What a horrible experience, worst customer service ever and we were basically told we were on our own.

The moral of the story....CAVEAT EMPTOR! Especially with anything that has a Cruise America name on it.

Oh that sounds like an easy lawsuit to me.

The key take-away here is:

Take the RV to be inspected BEFORE forking over the money.

Agreed 150%. We learned our lesson.

Although I DO find these forums extremely helpful and I have been able to solve a lot of issues with information I find on here.
