2013 Thor Palazzo-How to turn table into bed

Hello,
We just became new owners of a 2013 Thor Palazzo. I am struggling to turn our "U" shaped Dinette into a bed. What I mean by this is......I am able to take down the table and place the table top in the center between two cushions, but I am trying to locate the cushion that is supposed to sit on top of the table top to make it a full bed. I am not sure if we are missing a cushion or not.

Did you check under your master bed? That's typically where it and the overhead bunk ladder are stored.

Welcome to the forum. I'm not familiar with your model, but from the picture you posted, I would think some of the back cushions would be the ones.

I'm actually surprised that any Palazzos came with a "U" shaped dinette, but your's certainly did... http://www.coltonrv.com/wp-content/u...ure-Colton.pdf

For most of us with a booth dinette, the extra cushion is usually found under the bed storage... but, if the former owner removed theirs and put it in storage at their home to make more room in the coach, it may have never got back....

I have two 'extra' Cushions, myself.. one was from a former Georgetown, which we traded in, but forgot that our extra cushion was still at home, and another 'extra' cushion for our Palazzo that we've never used - it's somewhere at the house, too.

I'm surprised that you're trying to even use the U-booth for 'sleeping'... would it even be long enough for anyone? : /

I'm always amazed at the number of 'beds' or 'sleeping areas' that manufacturer's tought for their coaches - a booth that is 48" long is hardly considered a 'sleeping option', unless you're an infant, or 3 year old. That's like saying a twin mattress sleeps 'two'. : /

I find this claim by them hilarious also..."sleeps 10" is a recipe for disaster. Any more than 4 people in any RV is drawing near a feud...even if you're all family. Our truck camper years ago said "sleeps 4". Four people couldn't even stand up together in there. I've had friends walk through with us or visit us at a race somewhere and say..."we could sleep here", pointing at the sofa or dinette...I reply..."no you can't"!

while I enjoy watching the typical 'RV Sales' shows that are so popular on several tv networks, I always CRINGE when the potential customers have to 'take down' the booth dinette into a 'bed'(not!), and pull out the jack-knife or queen sleeper sofa to 'try out' the sleeping options... it's just a little ridiculous.

To me, if it's not a bed, it's not a bed.

but, then again, I don't go 'camping' either, I go RVing, which is different. : )
I want to enjoy sleeping, not feeling like I have to 'rough it' just because I am in an RV.

...well, unless you're Opie, and don't want to 'miss out' on camping on the ironing board when company comes over : )

They've covered your questions about the bedding cushions, so I'll just say

Welcome fellow Palazzo owner. Check out the Palazzo RV group on FB, maybe someone there can answer your question.

Hello

We just purchased our first Class A - 2019 Palazzo 37.4. When we brought it home and let our adult children walk through the first time they asked "How many does it sleep?" I said "Two."

Thank you for your input. Unfortunately, our engine is below our bed. I guess I will just have to make a cushion.

Thanks for your thoughts. Unfortunately, the back cushions are permanently attached. I have decided to make my own cushion.
