Post Hello From Michigan

I am looking forward to getting to know this group. Just moved into an A from a C, into a V10 gas from a Mercedes Diesel. Traded in our View with 160 thousand miles in 10 years. Plan an putting lots of miles onto this unit which we named Luby, after Lubock, where we bought her.

My wife, Marjorie and our Golden, Sophia are Winter Texans, spending 3 months there every winter. Plan on going to Alaska with the grandaughters, again, this summer, so we plan on using this unit.

The Skinnie Winnie Blog was a great help to me as I got used to my unit. Hope this forum is just as helpful.

Look forward to getting to know you.

Dieter Roth, Marjorie and Sophia Maria the Golden

Congratulations and welcome.

There seem to be quite a few Michiganders (or ex Michiganders) around these parts.

Which Thor did you get? (About 1/2-2/3 of the Thor Class A lineup have the V-10 from the Axis/Vegas units to the Hurricane, Miramar, Outlaw, etc.).

Update

Sorry that I did not mention the unit. EVO 29.2 is the model. Drove it 1200 miles from Texas back to Ann Arbor. Was a good ride, but I have to get used to the V10's thirst. I don't suppose there is anything that can be done about it other than adjusting your speed and weight.

Any suggestions?

Dieter

You could get a 5 Star Tune: Get a custom one for mileage. You'll probably get about a mpg or so out of it. (Probably not worth the cost though--especially when you put the power tune in and discover how much more fun that is than the economy one...don't ask me how I know LOL).
