2016 Vegas 24.1

Hi my name's Carle. I am from British Columbia and the new owner of a 2016 Vegas 24.1 and looking forward to the journey as we tour. I have a question regarding access to the spark plugs as I have heard I should torque them a little tighter than the factory specs. I am wondering if anyone knows if there is any easy access to them or possibly a youtube link that might help specific to the unit.
Cheers and thanks either way.
Carle

Congratulations and welcome.

That is something I haven't heard of with the V-10 and I'm on my 3rd. One of them made it 138,000 miles without touching the plugs at all (I know early V-10s did have an issue with them spitting plugs out but Ford fixed that in later versions).

Plugs

Thanks
I had been doing some reading (too much probably) and assumed it was an ongoing problem. So you are indicating it is just the older model Tritons that are an issue. Well that is good news. Maybe I won't worry so much about it.
Appreciate the reply.
Cheers

You must be listening to the same people that told me that the Triton v-10s were known for "throwing" spark plugs. Those were the first ones in production. There are many people on this forum with the first of the RUVs Vegas-Axis which have been in production since 2014-15 (am I right folks?) and no one has posted a problem with spark plugs.... I would move on to other things that definitely will come up... like a front end alignment if it hasn't been done already.

Ours is a 2014 with 15k miles on it without any powertrain issues.

My other V-10s that I've had:
1999 F-250 traded it in with 138,000 miles on it with all 10 original plugs for
2008 F-350 traded it in after 75,000 miles on it with all 10 original plugs for the Axis.

Not to mention.... I wouldn't want to think how much of a pain it would be to just "torque" down the 10 spark plugs on that rig.
