2017 Axis 25.4

Hello all,
I'm new to the world of RV's and just purchased a new 2017 Axis 25.4 model. I look forward to posting about trips and whatever comes along during my adventures. To start, does anyone know how to drain the fresh water tank?? The manual says the drain is "below and near the fresh water inlet". I've crawled all over under the coach looking for this drain and cannot find it. If anyone can shed light on this or post a photo that would be great. Click image for larger version

The first trick is to find the water tank. I would bet its under your bed--have you looked under the bed. Even if there is a panel there see if you can remove some screws to remove it (on the 24.1 the water tank is under the passenger side bed).

More than likely the valves for drain, winterizing, etc. are all in a compartment somewhere that you have to remove a panel to get access to.
Go here to find out from Thor how to get construction drawings (in this case the fresh water diagram will help you out):

Every model is different. Mine are in the sewer compartment.

I also have a 25.4, the fresh water tank drain is under the bed. Lift corner and foot of mattress and prop it up with slide lock bar, remove the one screw on hinged lid, throw screw away or save it as a spare, raise lid and you will now see the fresh water tank, there are 2 valves next to the tank, the one on the left is the drain valve. It looks like a shut off like you would find under a sink or toilet in your house, the port (hole size) inside of this valve is small so it will take some time to drain, when my warranty is out I will be replacing with a full port ball valve. Welcome and I hope you enjoy your coach as much as my wife and I do.

Thanks for the info..I eventually figured this out and I was happy/frustrated because how vague the manual was on locating the valves. But hey, got it done! Thanks for the response. We took it out to San Onofre beach/Camp Pendleton area this weekend and it was a great time!
