2018 Thor Ace 32.1

Hi Everyone, just picked up a new to us 9700 mile Thor Ace 32.1 2018. Looking to add the Summo Springs this week and likely a steering stabilizer. My intention is to pull a 7000 lb trailer that hauls the kids dirtbikes... any recommendations for MH stability and noise reduction etc... thanks in advance...

Welcome aboard! The 32.1 is a great floor plan
Does that trailer you intend to haul weigh the full 7000 lbs?

I believe your ACE 32.1 has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating or GVWR of 20,500 lbs that is loaded weight of the coach, all passengers, gear, cloths, food, water, propane, trailer tongue weight, & any after market items like sumo springs & steer stabilizers.
The ACE 32.1 has a Gross Combined Weight Rating or GCWR of 26,000 lbs, That number is the total weight of motorhome and its contents (GVWR) and the weight any towed trailers, it is not to exceed 26,000 lbs. Pulling a 7000 lb trailer if your fully loaded motorhome weighs in at 20,500 lbs loaded puts you overweight by 1,500 lbs, 3/4 of a ton.
Even though the motorhome's hitch is rated for 8000 lbs you legally can't tow that much unless the weights in the MH are kept under 18,000 lbs and that is pretty much the driver and an empty rig.
For what it's worth this is information sales goobers don't tell you.

Thank you for pointing that out... with all the things I tried to think of being a newbie I missed that one... thankfully I’ll be under weight but appreciate you taking the time to write a thorough informative email.
