2018 vegas 24.1 new owner

Taking delivery in a week - very excited and glad for this forum - so impressed by everyone's participation. New 2018 is wired for solar panels and has gone to euro style cabinets and made former option items standard.

Post pics once you get it--there has been a bunch of discussion about the 2018 changes.

Congratulations and welcome.

How are you getting a 2018 model delivered so fast when I ordered my 2017 in January and have yet to receive it?
Looking forward to seeing the new model!
Congrats on your new coach!

Congratulations!

Did they show you pictures of the new model, or did you buy sight unseen?

I'm also looking forward to your pictures.

Guess it helps to live close to the RV Mecca - Elkhart IN! General RV hunted it down for me. Really like the new Euro cabinet style and Solar ready aspects...will post pics when I take delivery in two weeks!

Congrad and welcome to the forums. Hope you do better than me...no no the unit if fine its all the great ideas I read about here and have to do them.
Just completed adding three vent covers to my unit after reading a tread here...its was only $80. The new 2018 comes with them.

Mostly same look but they showed pics of the new euro cabinets which we had seen on Winnebagos and preferred. I'll post pics one we take delivery in two weeks.

Thanks.

I like many design features of Euro Class As also, particularly their smaller size, rear garage, and great fuel economy. The Thor Axis and Winnebago Reyo are probably as close as we can get for now. Both appear good choices.

Good luck with the new MH.

I wish that would be the case, but I'm betting it won't be! I'm not usually that lucky!

Picking up my new 2017 Wednesday. Deciding between 25.5 or the 24.1 when we get to the dealer whose holding both for me. The 25.5 is pretty unique from pictures. Couldn't wait for the 2018, besides there is a 3,000 rebate expiring on the 2017 wanted to take advantage of but very curious about how the 2018 looks. I was told except for the cabinets and the sink basically everything is the same as mine will have the vent covers as standard as well as the upgraded AC and fan. But congrats!

2018 Vegas 24.1 Features

Think it is very strange that I am taking delivery in a week for the upgraded 2018 Vegas 24.1 and there are no pictures anywhere of the changes.....I guess they dont want to advertise till they clear the 2017 inventory! I will certainly post comprehensive photos here once I see it! My thanks to all those on this forum that have helped school me in the pros and cons for what I am about to experience!

David

Here's a similar angle of previous kitchen for comparison. On these pictures it makes aisle look a tiny bit wider, but that may be an optical illusion due to distance photo was taken.

Call me old fashioned but I prefer the non euro look I have in my 2016 24.1.
I imagine there is more storage with that arrangement but to me the decor somehow looks cold.
Only my opinion and in this case if it pleases it's new owner then it's a home run!
Regardless of my opinion I'm sure you are going to love it and I wish you many happy adventures in your new 24.1.
