Hi. I'm Bob Morazzi. My wife Renee and I live in Summerville, SC. We own a 2013 Thor Challenger DT 37. We're new to RVING in 2016. We've done one 40 day trip to Maine and are planning a 60 day trip West in September & October to see many of the National Parks. We are retired and look forward to many more trips.

Welcome to fellow South Carolinians and Challenger owners! I'm jealous of your planned itinerary, sounds amazing. This forum is a great resource and has helped us multiple times while on the road.

Welcome to the forum, sounds like you are already having a great time! My wife and I lived in Florence for 12 years, I really miss SC!

If you like the western national parks, put Alaska on your bucket list. It is fantastic. Have taken my RV twice and loved it both times. We spent 3-4 months on the second trip fro south Florida to Homer, Alaska and back.

We went to Alaska last year on a cruise. Loved it. The scenery was breathtaking. How are the roads in Alaska?

I found the roads in Alaska as good as most in the lower 48. The AlCon is paved all the way as are all other major routes. Roads in Western Canada are also very good. They just repaved Rt37 in Western Canada two years ago. However, because their road repair/construction time is so limited and the weather so severe, there is always construction somewhere.
