Hello, I'm looking to buy a Class C that I can use and rent out when not in use. I found a 2017 THOR FREEDOM ELITE 24 FT CLASS C MOTORHOME near me in my price range. Does anyone have this model and can give me some feedback as to reliability and ease of use?

Welcome to forum, you lead to me to wonder what it is like, or what kind of experience other RVers have that may rent their coaches? Being a newbie and with new coach (modern anyway), I would be very reluctant to rent out. There are so many things that could wrong. Also seem like it would be a lot more work i.e. cleaning and prepping etc.

Some places rent them out for you and they take care of everything. If I were to rent that would be the only way I would even try. Now if you do that, reliability and ease of use is not that big of a deal because you will have pros taking care of it.

Welcome to the forum! Those Freedom Elite coaches are often used for rentals, then sold cheap. If the one you are looking at was one of those, it is likely well used and very basic. It won't command top dollar as a private rental.

Pros and cons of buying a previous rental unit and renting your RV out have been well discussed on this forum. Suggest you try a search for those threads.
