advice please, no leveling system installed

Hi folks, our vegas 25.3 2018 did not come with a leveling system. Before investing in Big Foot, can someone please advise what to use to level with leveling blocks?

You answered your own question. You use leveling blocks of which there are many variations that will work. You can also use 2x6 or 2x8 sections

You might want to search You Tube for leveling procedures.

Thank you. I knew leveling blocks will work, storage is a premium and we are used to leveling with a travel trailer and adding blocks. I guess I need to find blocks that are easier to drive onto.

I've been using the Camco stackable blocks. I just got a pair for the rear dual wheels so both are supported together.

It hasn't been too hard, and only a couple places we stayed I felt like we were not able to get level. I just recently purchased a Level Mate Pro and cannot wait to give it a try! I think it will really help me pick out the most level starting spot on the site.

We have the Legos, about 40 of them.
They came with our RV.
We never use them.
We drove from the grand Canyon to Iowa just so the leveler company could tske a 10 minute look at our RV. Then we would drive back for an install appointment for a $10,000+- install

We found we don't need levelers.
We'd still love to have them, but we're doing just fine without them.
26,000 miles and haven't needed them yet.

Ask gnach about his levelers.

Just an alternate view.
We'll still add them, but there's no real need.
(But they'll also work as jacks to change a tire if you get the right lifts.)

We rarely use them for leveling either...most sites are pretty close, although I do use them every time for stability. Nice to be able to level and stabilize as easy as you can pick your nose.

I have an Axis 24.1 and have tried various leveling ramps. Most are too lightweight and break. But I bought a pair of these extremely well built and strong ramps that work fine even when using only one for one for each side of the rear wheel pair: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They lift over 6" but are somewhat heavy and very long. They fit fine in my Axis' long passenger side storage compartment, but I don't think the 25.3 has that long compartment or an aft pass through compartment either.

I am not too fond of the leveling blocks that hook together. It takes a lot of blocks to make a 6" rise (which I have had to do several times) and the ramp up is steep. Also it almost always takes two ramps- one for each side, usually the rear wheels and that is a bunch of blocks.

Another possibility is the curved levelers. It will probably take four sets- one for each rear wheel so storage may also be a problem.

I think I would go with the Bigfoot Platinum system in your case.

Oh and we almost always camp at rustic state park and USFS sites and have always needed to level- usually front to back but sometimes with a side to side component.

Trying to keep it cheap, I started out trying the leftover Lynx levelers from our trailer... which slid all over the place before I crushed several of them with the class C... too heavy.

Then cut 2x6 pressure treated boards into different lengths to drive up on. I stuck the non-skid step "sandpaper" stuff on them to keep them from slipping.

That worked for a while... until I needed more and more of them to get level in hilly spots... Appalachian mountains, etc. Eventually started encroaching on storage space.

After one season of those headaches I bit the bullet and plopped down $3k for the Big Foot Platinum manual system.

I will probably give the manual method another year but I see my family making the trip to Michigan sooner rather than later!

I have a few sets of the Lynx levelers and a set of the Camco dually blocks linked above.

I also have a Levelmate Pro installed in our coach. This has been the best level. It displays the coaches "levelness" live on your phone/tablet so you can park it on the most level spot to start out with. You also calibrate it so it shows how many inches to raise each corner (and one layer of blocks = about 1" so it makes it super easy).

Sure but it basically just makes your phone the level which means you have to hold your phone level or rest it somewhere on the coach.

The Levelmatepro is mounted in the RV.

We have the Thor Axis 24.1

Our rig came with two sets of the square legos. We ditched them for 4 of the

ramps. They nest one on top of the other inverted to save space. Easy for either of us to place and drive up.

I think Rvlevel is the one which knows the length width and wheelbase of the rv and shows what inches go where to become level.

Yeah we sometimes use the closet door LOL. You also put the width and length of the RV in levelmate.

We've used water in the sink as well.

We don't mind too much--as long as the fridge can run.

Yeah our 24.1 also sits nose low.

As you can see, level is a state of mind... some are particular, some not so much. Drives me nuts if not level, but that's just the way I roll.

Beyond that, the two most important components affected by level are slide rooms and absorption refrigerators. The fridge has fair tolerance, but I don't move the slide until I'm nearly perfectly level. Knock on wood, but my Schwintek has behaved itself so far... I like to think being level is a big contributor.

I've used the plastic levelers for 5 years with my class C, and for several years before that with my 33 ft 5th wheel. Sure I smashed a couple over the years but i just toss them in the recycle bin at home and use another. Only place they were a problem was at Circus Circus in Vegas during the summer when I had a couple literally melt on the hot pavement. I can replace a lot of plastic for the cost of a set of Bigfoot levelers. Often time we don't even need them and as for stability, we haven't really had an issue with it. We also plan to install a Levelmate Pro next spring as I've heard lots of good reviews from friends and forum posts.
