Another rv newbie..
Hello folks..
i recently retired and desperately want to get out of Ct..after much thought the wife and i bought a chateau 29g..soon we will camp at nearby rv parks for practice then its off to Tennessee to look for a new place to live..so now we learn!! Nothing beats the wealth of information at a great forum..thanks all for helping out us newbies !!

Northeastern tip.. johnson city..virginia border..far away from this craziness but close enough to r/v it back to visit..and dont worry..i come in PEACE !! Been here my whole 61 years.. im done with it !!

That is a very pretty area of the state! Still very rural. If you are looking for acreage you shouldn't have any trouble finding some. I live near Chattanooga, about 3 1/2 hours from Johnson City. There are lots of great places to camp all around East Tennessee also.

Congrats! Maybe our paths will cross when you get here.

Congratulations on your retirement and home surch. We did the same thing in 2/18 Retired from Delaware Dept of Corrections bought our new Windsport and relocated to Ocala, FL we call it LIVING OUR DREAM!

If you're towing a dinghy make sure you set up your EZ Pass correctly for both the RV and two vehicle. Otherwise all the toll collectors between CT and TN will follow you for eternity convinced you jumped the toll.
