Aussie want to be redwood owners

G'Day from downunder

We are Gary & Sheree and hope to in 2014 purchase a Redwood 36rl and import it to Australia...have friends who have done it and are doing it not with a beautiful Redwood though...we are selling our home and going on the road indefinitely around Australia...

Looking forward to meeting everyone and getting lots of good ideas etc...

Lloyd, it is quite an endeavour but we need to do it to get the rig we really want -

Johnboytoo...Stowing away might be a little uncomfortable... If we ever head over to Texas - we would love to stop by for some southern cooking and thanks for the offer...if you are ever in Australia we will cook you a good Aussie BBQ

I see that Crossroads are sold in Australia with enter door on the left side! Is yours going to be that way?

Hi Lebo

They don't sell Crossroads any more here in Aus...and they were just two models 28 & 30' and really not suitable for us going full time.

We just love the Redwoods but can't get them to answer us after about 10 emails to put a door in the left hand side for us at build which is a real buggar if they won't because we wanted it all painted at once whereas we have to put a white door in and try and do some sort of matching paint...

If we could get Redwood to answer our emails it would be good...so frustrating...

It would cost us an absolute fortune to ring them from Australia...so 5 minutes to return our emails seems reasonable...but have not heard a word in nearly 6 weeks when the first one was sent...Very frustrating...
