Hello

Hello,
I am new to the RV motorhome world but have been camping for years. I am looking for advice from anyone that can help. I am looking to upgrade to a class C motorhome; specifically a 2017 Thor Chateau 26B.

Does anyone have any information they would like to share about the Chateau

I can't help you with questions about the Chateau models, but I'd still like to welcome you aboard!

Hi and welcome.
I would look at how nice the sleeping arrangements are.
Like not needing to open a slide out in case you need to boondock overnight in a rest stop.
We opted for a toy hauler in a class C, to bring motorcycles, vs bringing them by trailer, because we want to graduate to a toad, and still maybe bring bikes.
To each their own, lots of info on here for them, enjoy!

Love the Chateau...best part is the CAB!! A real truck cab, manufacturer by a real truck company that's been doing it for over 100 years.

Welcome! Sorry, my only experience with a Class C was ages ago, different brand and much different floorplan, and also a different stage of life.

The side slide with a folding bed wouldn't bother me at a Wmart. It might be a problem at a rest area or a truck stop, but we never stay overnight at those.

Suggest you rent a coach as near to that floorplan as you can. Even a weekend will help you with your decisions.
