I cleaned my strainer out awhile back and had some plastic shavings in it also.

Larry,

Where is the strainer? I had no idea there was one.

Phil,

It's right at the water pump on the inlet side. Remove the screw on cap and a wire mesh is fitted inside the pipe. Just remove the screen wire, clean and replace.

Another Question from a Newby:

Give me an estimate of how far out of balance ( in degrees) does the coach have to be, either front to back or side to side, before it begins to effect the performance of or harm the refrigerator?

Thanks

Tom

Should be in the fuse box located under the dash to the left of the steering column. Assuming it is laid out like our ace.

That fuse is located in the outside storage compartment on the driver's side all the way to the front. Small black box with cover on the right inside the compartment. Not sure which fuse it is but there's a fuse diagram on the cover.

I looked in that box, no bad fuses were found

There is a Ford fuse box to the left of the steering column under the dash. There are a lot of unused fuses in there (ones you can swap out a bad fuse with).

The details of which fuse is which is in the E-350 stripped chassis manual that you should have received with the camper.

Almost positive that's where the 12v outlet fuse is located.

Tom,

With my prior class C, which had an RV refrigerator, the rule of thumb was that if my wife could comfortably walk in the coach then we were level enough for the fridge. That refrigerator was a large Dometic 4 door unit. That was also the instructions provided during my PDI with that coach and the instructions included in the refrigerators owner's manual.

If I have my Acis plugged into a 110 source and turn off everything in the coach will the 110 run my AC?

Yes it will, but I would suggest using as large diameter drop cord as possible to plug in, if your shore line cord won't reach the outlet.

If the 110 source is 20 Amp it should. If it is less than 20 Amp it may be "iffy"

Bottom line is that it will depend on the power load of the AC vs the power source.

Tomspen,

I usually activate my refrigerator a day before take off and add the air conditioner a few hours before and sometimes when we are loading things into the unit. I use my 30 amp cord to a 110 outlet.

Bit late here as I just joined. New Axis 24.1 owner.
I called Thor and they could not tell me where it was located (they made a lot of wrong guesses though) so I traced it on my own and then sent Thor the Schematic and Wiring docs to update their documentation.

On My 2015 Axis the 12V front dash fuse is located in position 70 in the ford fuse box located in the engine compartment (In the Ford E350 stripped chassis manual it is referred as the BJB fuse box).

It is a Low profile JCase 30A Fuse.

In my case it was half the price at the local Ford dealership than at the local parts suppliers.
