Better ride

I just purchased a used 2016 24.1 foot Vegas. My title ask for empty weight. I cannot find on my coach where it gives me this information. I’ve looked on yellow sticker and it confuses me. It states 1463kg or 3225lbs. Is the 3225 correct? I need info tomorrow but I!m not sure this is correct. Please help

According to RV USA the 2014 Vegas is built on the E350 Chassis. The E 350 has a GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of 12,500 lbs. The yellow sticker on the door should be the OCCC (Occupants & Cargo Carrying Capacity) If the Gross Weight Rating for your coach is 12,500 lbs subtract the Occupants & Cargo Carrying Capacity of 3,225 lbs leaves you a dry/empty weight of 9,275 lbs.

I doubt Thor built a Vegas that light, which makes me think his is probably on an E-450 with 14,500-pound GVWR.

That would suggest an empty weight closer to 11,275 pounds. Just a guess on my part, so I would call Thor as suggested by others above.

By all means call Thor. The OP asked a question and I tried to find him an answer.
Google is your friend the 2014 Axis/Vegas 24.1 is listed on the RV sales sites on an E 350 chassis. The 2021 Axis /Vegas is listed on Thor's site as an E 350 chassis. But hey what do I know. Maybe I can't read...

I’m just trying to help also. Please don’t take my post personal. It’s just information.

Yes, first year were on E-350. And yes, 2021 is back to E-350. However, Thor has used the E-450 on Axis and Vegas 24.1 back and forth many times between those model years.

I may be wrong on it being an E-450, but an empty weight of 9,275 pounds seems too low to me based on what owners have reported.

The sticker on any vehicle is the final authority

During that time period the 24.1 was built on both the 350 and 450 chassis so the OP could have either one.

The VIN will tell the OP the chassis and the GVW but it will not tell the OP the empty weight since Ford does not know that when the chassis is manufactured.

Stickers on the driver's side wall are the best place to look if they are still in place.

Isn't there a yellow sticker at the bottom of the screen door that lists cargo capacity?

The OP’s issue is not cargo capacity. The OP needs the empty weight for their DMV. The yellow sticker might list the finished weight with full LP and fuel. My current coach does show this while the prior rig did not. The “as completed” weight is what was reported to the DMV for empty weight.
