Step Frustration

Recently replace the motor and gearbox for the steps. Now it's acting like there is no power to the steps. Checked the fuses under the bed, on the passenger door side and on driver's side firewall. Where else could the fuse be?

I have a 17 35sk also. I had a problem with the arm locking up was able to replace. Check the fuses at panel or at battery. I wish I had more info

I believe my steps have an inline fuse just under the steps on the power line going to the steps. You might check that area under the steps. Also check to be sure the magnetic contacts are making contact between the screen door and the contact point on the door frame.

Get your volt meter and check for 12VDC at the red wire, at the connector, below the step. I'd suggest disconnecting the connector first, and always make sure you are clear of the steps in case they decide to move.
