Question National Vehicle - selling RV

Has anyone used National Vehicle to sell or buy an RV? If you have, would you please comment on your experience. I am considering using them to sell my 2018 Thor Axis 24.1. They make it sound easy, but I have never sold an RV and don't mind paying a fee if they do what they say. Thanks in advance.

I personally have never heard of them. The name National Vehicle is enough to make me skeptical. The fact that you state they make it sound easy would be enough for me. You actually say you "don't mind paying a fee if they do what they say" I feel pretty sure they will do 100% what they say that is in writing; but that may not be the same as what you were expecting.

It will not matter so much what others think as long as you are willing to accept all of the risks which it sounds like you are. It is akin to someone going to Vegas and losing $3,000. Some will say they got ripped off, others will not blink saying they had fun. If losing $3,000 bothers you, there are safer proposition bets to take while in Vegas. Likewise; there are safer propositions for selling your RV yourself.

Nothing about selling an RV is easy...especially when a 3rd party is doing it for you and that 3rd party is not really close to where the RV is. What about their program makes it sound easy? How much did they "promise" you it's worth? What is the upfront fee they want you to pay? How long did they tell you it would take to sell it? Who do they run their finance deals through? What title service do they use for the transfer? How do you actually receive your funds? Do you have to sign the title over to them in the pre-sale process? These are the biggest complaints I read on BBB about them. I wouldn't touch a program like that. Just list it on RV Trader (and the other obvious sites) yourself...that's all they do.

I get probably 10 "spam" phone calls a week from brokers wanting to buy my house. If I accidentally answer one, I at minimum double what the current market value is. They never call back.

It doesn't matter WHAT widget you're selling, adding a third party (just like with healthcare) adds another set of hands skimming a cut from the pie. Guaranteed you won't get even close to market value after their cut... but if you KNOW that going in, and it seems hassle free...
