If it uses the Schwintek system, look for the controller box for that slide out. You can override the controller by using a pen to push the button six times fast and hold on the 7th time. You can now operate the slide out from the control panel to retract it. The controller box will be located usually inside a compartment near the slide out. It maybe be hidden on a wall or roof of the compartment. It will have two sets of wires going to it (left and right motors) and will be blinking red. The instructions will be written on the outside of the controller box to figure out the fault code of the blinking red lights.

Paul

Note: The slide controller box maybe located inside an outdoor storage compartment.

I just did a google search HWH slide out retract system and found a YouTube video on how to retract a HWH slide out. You can follow those directions if you have internet.

Everyone should find out their manual procedures and practice them at some convenient time. It’s better than sitting in a campsite in the rain when you need to get somewhere and wringing your hands. After mine failed thusly it took me over an hour to download the procedure and get underway. Afterward I was never again anxious about a slide failure.
