Brand New ACE 33.1 - 2 Broken Ubolts???

Hi All!
New to this forum and wanted to ask, has anyone had any issues with their ubolts cracking off? These are the ubolts in the rear that hold the leaf springs - we purchased a brand new 2022 ACE 33.1 drove off lot April 2022 and had driver side ubolt crack off and was replaced and now in July of 2022 the passenger side just cracked and fell off. The rig has less than 600 miles on it. Has anyone ever heard of this happening and know maybe why or what else could be lurking under this rig???

Nope, I don't recall this issue surfacing on the Forum.

I would be contacting Ford and the NHTSA. This sounds like a significant safety issue and may be worthy of a recall depending on the reason for the failures.

Depending on the VIN, there were (are) some affected chassis that were supposed to be taken care of by the final stage manufacturer (Thor) before delivery. Using you VIN, contact a Ford dealer near you (preferably a commercial store) and have them run your VIN in OASIS and see what the system says. Get a copy and then decide who to call or what course of action you have (not NHTSA). This is a Ford issue and Ford will correct it.

Seems there is a rear axle recall.

Brand New ACE 33.1 - 2 Broken Ubolts??

Thank you all for the info! We currently have the rig at a Ford dealership being fixed and inspected. This could have been catastrophic if we were driving and these broke off. We are lucky we noticed it when we were in our storage lot parked......
