A/C and Microwave

Air and microwave won't work at the same time on 50 amp, but works on generator. This just happened. Windsport 34R

So what happens if you try to run both at the same time?
Do you have an EMS?
Both A/Cs or just one?
So many unknowns..........

Get a professional out to look at it.
It's complicated.
We here often do not take our audience into account and we will give overly complicated instruction to anyone who asks.
The unknowns tell us to keep this one simple.

The simple answer is to try another pedestal/50amp source.
If it works, it's the pedastal.
If it still doesn't work, call the professional.

2 ac units in the windsport. Everything was fine until yesterday. If ac is running and I use Microwave, both ac and microwave stop working. A both work fine with generator. Not on 50 amp, where the problem is. If I want to use Microwave I have to turn off ac

If no breakers are tripping, ac works, microwave does not, then turn ac off and use the microwave.
Is this a correct description of your problem?

Thor authorizes mobile repair in certain instances.
If your dealer won't see you in a timely fashion ask for a mobile servicer or a non-dealer shop.

I rarely agree with but problems with 2 sources of 240vac (the other ) can be pretty serious.
I hate to see you lose the rest of the camping season

In your place I would look for a reputable mobile RV repair co., keep good records and hope Thor is in a good mood and reimburse me.

Would I have to get permission from Thor if I had a RV tech fix it to get reimbursed?

Yes, that is what I am doing now, but would like it fixed while under warranty. It was fine on several trips we had I'm the past

Thor warranted mine even though I bought it used.
Other people were not afforded this courtesy, and some here swear thor won't do it.
I think phone demeanor means a lot to the low level thor rep on the phone with you. NO ONE but Thor can tell you what they'll do concerning any particular thing at any particular instance.

You'll get nothing but guesses here.

If you need to run the microwave while the ac is on, invest $200 in a service call.
Reimbursement at that financial level shouldn't be an issue.

call thor for pre-authorization.

Are you in a campground with electric hookup? If so... AND have an EMS, the campground may have an undervoltage problem, which would be indicated as an error on your EMS.

You may just not be getting enough "juice" to power both high-amperage appliances.

This sounds like a wiring problem, maybe in the shore cable. or in the RV original wiring. Take it back to the dealer.
