Can I put a towel rack on the bathroom wall

I'm a new thor freedom elite 22fe owner and my wife wants a towel rack on bathroom wall above the toilet. I'm concerned that the screws to hang the rack will either hit something important or won't have anything to grab onto. As far as I can tell the distance from this wall to the outside fiberglass is about 1.75 inches (I would only use 3/4 inch screws). Has anyone driven screws into this wall? Is the a plywood board that would hold up a towel rack here? Any advice?

We used a towel rack with the secure adhesive strips. Works great you can find them at Walmart.

I found some in Walmart. Do you worry about it pulling the wall covering off the wall? How long have you had it in your bathroom? Any issues to date?

This is the towel rack I put on the wall above our toilet over two years ago:

Before that we had a regular towel rack that i had installed on that wall.

We put our towel racks on the back of the bathroom door. We have split bathroom so lots of room plus all of the walls are full of wall cabinets and cubbies

I put these up with screws. I think I got them from Lowe's or Menards. They've held up fine for two years.

Use 3M Command strip adhesive products to stick things to the wallpaper. Used properly they hold extremely well, and can be removed without damaging the wallpaper.

That looks exactly like I need! So it looks like the wall structure is adequate for the weight? Thanks!!!

The wall mount we used with the command strips has been up for several months no problems. We even put a couple up in the new house.

Get a package of E Z ancor drywall anchors from any hardware store, strong, reliable and simple to install.

We put a curtain road there for a towel rod. It was lighter and adjustable. Love it.

You can't, and there really isn't any need to.

I like the heated towel rack but I hope my wife doesn't see it or I know I will be installing one.

My wife bought me a heated towel rack for our home just before we moved a few years ago. It is still in the box at our new home. Somewhere.

I don't think I will add a heated rack to our new RV. Frankly, I just hope we remember to bring towels.
