Delaware Newbie

Dropping a line to say howdy been doing a lot or reading on various post and must say this forum rocks. Already have made upgrades to new Axis 25.4. Even though only a week old. Sway Bar, bedding, now looking at entry lock. Thanks to all of your input. Not our first motorhome but have been out of the RVing family for about 8 years. Seems a lot has changed in the coach and the information shard. Looking forward to our first big trip end of month to Wisconsin and reporting back to this sight.

Congrats and welcome.

If you haven't already download Ed's crowd sourced owner's manual for Axis/Vegas units (I'm assuming since you've been browsing and have already made mods you probably already did this--if you haven't its a sticky in the tech topics forum).

Welcome to the forum!
It's been said that what you bought was an RV "kit"! A project that is never complete. Yes, this forum rocks, because of so many knowledgeable and helpful folks here.

Thanks for the welcome

After a week of constant in and out of the motor home I believe we are ready to hit the road. Thanks to all the great info on this sight.

We like it. There are not many on the forum. I suppose the corner bed may be why it was discontinued, some may not like it. We don't change sheets everyday, so it's no big deal to us. But it has a lot of bedroom storage, which we like. I am 6'2" and the full XL mattress is plenty big for my wife and I. We really like the floor plan. Having the counter in the bedroom is nice too. It drives great. I am going to get the front end alignment done, also the steering wheel has isn't centered, to the left slightly when going straight.

Overall, very happy.

Yeah had the same steering wheel issue had anti-sway bar installed front and rear then aligned. My wife loves the counter space back bedroom as well. Really looking forward to our long trip end of September. Taking it out for quick weekenders doesn’t really give you the full effect. But so far we are thrilled at how it drives and stores all our gear.

We are going to Stone Mountain in October for six days. Hope to take a bigger trip next year.

I looked at it online, was wondering what it is like. Until I retire we won't be making multi-week trips, so I am always looking for places close that we could do 3-4 days.

Ok here are a few more pictures:

Here is a panno of the pool area. When I was there they had a small band playing every night on the far left (by the stone "bar").

Its pretty much a standard KOA, everything is clean (although I didn't use any of the restrooms), with camping kottages and kabins:

We use KOA's a lot for traveling as they all are pretty consistent (kind of like a McDonald's--you always know what you're going to get).

Not sure if this is how I put up a new post or not, I'm looking to see if anyone knows where I could get the wiring drawings for my 96 Residency Motor coach.
