Hey There. I'm new to THOR but not RV's. I had a Fleetwood Class A for 11 years and I recently bought a 2019 Thor Hurricane 34R. We Boondock quite a bit so to support the Residential Fridge I added four Trojan T-145 batteries. I also replaced the solar controller as it was too small and added two Go Power 170watt panels. So far it seems to almost keep up with the fridge but If I need to I may add more. I added a Dometic fridge in the basement to keep the beer cold. Next I plan to upgrade the converter so the batteries charge quicker and possibly upgrade the inverter. I'm pretty comfortable working on my own unit as I kinda work in a related field. If you have any questions I'd be happy to help out. I'm also really disappointed with the Axxera head unit, I'm actively looking for a replacement with a few more modern features such as apple car play but i would like to keep the extra large screen as my unit came with an 11" Axxera unit. I spend allot of time Dirt biking with my kids and riding my Polaris RZR.
