THOR #17456
New Vegas 24.1 Owner

Hello to all.
We are retired, living in Florida, and recently purchased a leftover 2019 Thor Vegas 24.1. To date, we have been out six nights, but have more planned.
Our only issue to date concerns the kitchen cabinet doors, one of which has a different curvature than the other. The dealer is working with Thor on this.

No major issues, but minor ones that have been fixed (nearly all by me) include:
--A rear tire needed remounting because of a slow leak at the rim
--Several screws needed anchors installed as they were screwed into thin wood.
--Lippert One Control was losing icons. Lippert was very helpful and it turned out to be a loose CANBUS cable at the slide control.
--Power seat control mounted upside down.

Mods to date include:
--Installed sewer hose holder
--Replaced jackknife sofa with RecPro recliners and carpeted slide
--Adding TPMS
--Installed articulated TV mount in bedroom area

We have been very happy with our new Vegas, especially considering the price paid.

Thanks to all who post their knowledge and experiences. You have been very helpful!

How did you get that tv off the wall?
I posted a tutorial on removing the over-the-door TV, but I can't figure out the bedroom TV. My bedroom tv seems to have mounted before they put up the drivers side... The entire drivers side of the coach.

And
If they let you keep the door they replace, I'll trade you something for it.
No reason yet for me to have it, but if I had a door I might build something from it.

I'm going on my memory, which is sometimes not very reliable! As I recall, I was able to slide the TV toward the outside wall and then pull enough to dislodge the TV half of the mount from the wall half.
The only thing I haven't figured out is how to patch a few holes that show when the new articulated mount is extended. Right now, I have filled them with a colored putty, but they still show.
Incidentally, the new mount is not quite as shallow as the old one. It causes the TV to protrude more from the wall-maybe an inch.
Not sure if Thor will want the kitchen cabinet door back.

Welcome to the forum!

As you are learning, what we bought from Thor is not so much a completed product, but a kit. You have to finish it with your time and money. Happy trails!
