Hello all, just starting with the motor homing thing now and new to the forum however, we have had a fifth wheel and several trailers in the past so not entirely new to us. We purchased a 2016 Thor Ace29.3 with 14,000km on it and just returned from our first 6000km trip with it. All worked well other than the door latch one day. I was inside and my wife on the outside. She couldn't get in, and I couldn't get out! I took the door latch apart from the inside and pulled the latch back with a pair of needle nose pliers. The latch mechanism was in several pieces and not very well made. I simply put the rest back together and it was safe to travel by locking the door. Other than that, all went well. Pulling a Jeep Liberty was a breeze also, like it wasn't even there. Plenty of power from the Ford V-10, which pains me to say as I am a GMC fan more than a Ford fan.
