Welcome to the Forum and Happy Travels. The first RV I got was a 2017 Axis 25.2. Very similar to yours. I'm 6'6" and I found out quick I needed more room and 9 months later we got a 2018 Thor Windsport 29m. I love it. I wanted to ask you how your doing in that floorplan as full time RVers? Not sure I could do full time in my Windsport even tho it's roomy and has a king bed that a MUST!!!!! Bob

We sold out before the wife retired and moved into the 'shack.
Note.. We owned this RV outright before selling our S & B.., After closing, we invested all the proceeds from the house/rigs and everything else.
This way We have an "Exit Plan" in the event that We must "Come off" the road and live in a cottage or other alternatives...

I hope that is not the case and things go EXACTLY as you have planned. It's nice to be able to do that and just go where the wind takes you. Doubt I'll ever sell my house, I have too many things that I could never part with but I may take another trip to California and many states out west like my late wife and I did in 2019. If I do, then it will be longer than the month trip we took from NC. Just travel and boondock 3 or 4 days then find a campground. Cheaper than staying at a park every night for 2 or 3 months, RIGHT??

We have found that it is far more economical to stay put for a month at a time using a monthly rate, than it is to spend only 10 to 15 days a month in various FHU campgrounds and paying their daily rates.. Also by staying put we are not using up our [self imposed] monthly fuel allowance. [Filling up our 200 gallon fuel tanks 3 or 4 times in a month really adds up].
And we get to know the areas better.
