Good morning....also new to forum

I purchase a new 2018 thor palazzo 36.3 in april 2019. Due to some issues RV spent a bit of time sitting on the lot for warranty issues to be taken care of, approximately 3 months....then a bit of time in indoor storage (family heallth issues), made my first short trip out to the Adirondacks for several days and met a friend up there in september of 2019.
Returned the RV to Dealership on the 16th of that month, and as had been arranged before hand dropped the RV back off at the dealer ship for winterizing and work on some after the fact issues with warranty type things that happend once i got out onto the road. RV sat for another month and a half on dealer lot....had to finally push them to winterize, as they had a free program ongoing, and a call to storage site that i had to get the RV in in the next day or I would lose my placement to another RV.

long story shorter.....not much experience with things because of lack of time with RV on the road......curious to know if anyone can help me with engine block heater set up and further discussion in regards to this and other things..........Thank you........Bob

A list of what the warranty items were is helpful to yourself and everyone else.
If it's sawdust residue, you're on your own.
If it's the water heater not working right we can show you the 10 second fix.

Ford factory block heaters are a freeze plug replacement on the drivers side.
I bet it's $500 if it doesn't require the exhaust manifold be removed plus parts...and a potential fluid leak....

An aftermarket oil pan pad heater will do you just fine and is maybe $20 to $50.
Same theory and possibly same wattage as the factory unit.
Amazon and eBay have plenty to choose from. They are not vehicle specific and a universal unit is truly universal. It's basically a weatherproof "home and sick" type heating pad most people have at home.
If you live in a place where a heater is needed, anyone in any group(church, Friday night poker, neighbors) can tell you which heater they prefer.

The OP's coach is a Palazzo so it is a DP and Ford Block Heater has no bearing on the issue.

to the OP

Did your coach come with a block heater or are you asking about installing one? Many of the DPs have a block heater with an on/off switch in the bedroom or a bathroom. On my Super C I have an electrical connection for an extension cord right below my driver's door. My Cummins does not require the use of the block heater until the temp gets down to around 20 degrees or lower.

OK.
This is kinda why I insist on more information from any poster asking for help.
I don't want to know all models, and I had to Guess.

I'll leave the post up for Ford owners who might stumble upon this thread.
But
Since we don't know if he has a heater already, the install might/probably be even more costly for the install on a dp.
I'm sure of blanket warmers.
I'm also pretty sure of universal radiator hose heaters.
